Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the whole of South East Asia. Breathtaking panoramas, a stunning vegetation, and the cultural side: Balinese dance, artwork and architecture give the island it's unique fascination. And also other sports (rafting, trekking, biking, surfing) , cooking classes, massage, spa, beauty salon and… shopping!
If you need any help with arranging some tours or alternative activities (many choices also for kids!)  please send us an e-mail and we’ll be glad to assist you

What Languages does the dive crew speak?

English and Japanese is spoken throughout all of our facilities in South and North Bali.  We also have a wide range of languages available such as German, French, Dutch, and of course Indonesian.  At the moment of the booking please advise us which language you prefer.

Which wet suit should I bring with me?

Menjangan and Tulamben: from 3 to 5 mm (water temperature is usually between 27 and 29 degrees)

Nusa Penida: 3 mm is normally sufficient for non Mola Mola seasonal dives.  During the Mola Mola season a 5 mm is fine if you dive only a couple of days, but if you are planning to stay longer and you usually suffer cold, you might also enjoy a 7 mm or at least bring with you a hood (water here can also drop to below 20 degrees!)  Mola Mola season runs from July through to November.

Do you have Nitrox available?

Yes, we have it in all locations, but please advice that you need it in order to give us the time to arrange the tanks for you.

Do your tanks have INT or DIN valves?

All our tanks have INT valves or convertible valves (both INT and DIN). DIN adapters are available upon request also.

Should I bring all my own diving gear?

We recommend that all our guests to bring their own equipment in order to be more familiar and comfortable with it. However, we do have dive equipment available for rental. Please contact us before your trip to verify your requirements and always tell us you height, weight and foot size when you make your booking.

Are you vessels equipped for emergencies?

All our vessels carry oxygen, first aid equipment, emergency signaling devices, life jackets, life buoys and marine radios and communication equipment. Our safety procedures aboard these vessels ensure a smooth, safe and efficient trip to the dive sites around the Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida region.

Do I need to bring along my dive certification card and logbook?

You should bring your certification card and log book to verify your diving experience.

I lost my Certification card how can I get it replaced?

Please let our PADI instructors know and we can assist you to replace the card.  If you are PADI certified we can check online with PADI Dive Chek.

Why are some Diving Centers much cheaper than others?

One difference is that some diving centers do not tell you about all the costs involved. So, when you make the booking, it costs a certain amount, and when you get to the place, you have to pay for different extras which make the difference at the end. Be careful, if the price sounds very inexpensive it might not include everything. You might end up paying more than you expected.

Another reason is that many companies do not invest in top quality instructors. Blue Season Bali invests in the best quality dive staff from all over the world to ensure that your diving experience is a great adventure.

Some diving centers have good quality, safe and well maintained equipment, as well as insurance, reliable boats and engines, and put safety and high quality service as top priorities; some don’t!

Do you promote eco friendly diving practices?

Blue Season Bali actively promotes eco friendly dive practices in all of our of our dive trips and PADI programs.

Is it difficult to learn SCUBA diving?

It's easier than you imagine, especially if you're already comfortable in the water.   PADI's entry-level diver course is split into knowledge development, confined water (pool) skill training and four scuba training dives.  The course is "performance based," which means that you progress as you learn and demonstrate knowledge and skill development.

How long does it take to learn to dive?

In order to get your diving license it can take from two days, PADI Scuba Diver, to four days, PADI Open Water Diver.  We are also able to offer flexible scheduling for those who cannot do the course all at once.  PADI courses are "performance based," which means that you only earn your scuba certification when you demonstrate that you have mastered the required skills and knowledge.  Some people learn faster than others, so how long it takes you may vary.

Do I have to be a good swimmer to be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver?

You do not need to be a good swimmer to complete the PADI Open Water Course.  You do need to be able to snorkel for 300m and float on the surface for 10 minutes.

What is included in the course?

All of our PADI Dive courses include transfers, lunch, drinks, beach towels, certified PADI Instructor, PADI training material for you to keep, certification,  dive insurance, porter fees, park entry fees, taxes and service charges.

Is scuba diving dangerous?

Not really.  Statistics show that recreational scuba diving is about as safe as swimming.  Certainly there are potential hazards (which are why you need training and certification) but like driving a car, as long as you follow the rules and use common sense, it's pretty safe.

Where will I dive?

Blue Season Bali only chooses the best possible dive sites to conduct our PADI training dives. click here to see more information on the best dive sites in Bali
