Meet the Team : Bryan St Laurent
I’d like to introduce you to Bryan, who works at Blue Season Bali as our internship manager. He arranges all details to do with our Divemaster and MSDT programs and teaches the dive master course to our students. Bryan’s interest in science (Bachelor Science, Sports Medicine, Master of Science, Biomechanics, Master of Business Administration) and nature peaked his curiosity about the underwater world, so when his younger brother became a certified diver Bryan soon followed.
Bryan spent many years as a recreational diver traveling all over the world to pursue his hobby, diving in exotic places such as the Bahamas, Bonaire, Dominica, Cayman Islands, Florida and Hawaii Eventually the draw of the ocean became too strong and the decision to move away from the world of identification (RFID) technologies and work within the dive industry was the next obvious step to take. After making this life changing decision Bryan then set about deciding on where would offer the best training.
After extensive online research comparing various programs around the world and multiple emails and telephone calls with Blue Season’s owners and dive staff his choice was made and he came to train with us in Bali. During his time training here he completed an extensive number of courses – Dive master, Instructor (OWSI); Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT); Staff Instructor (IDCSI; Trimix Gas Blender Instructor; Tec40-50, Trimix Diver; Tec Instructor/Deep Instructor. After completing his training he headed to the Papua Paradise Eco Resort in Raja Ampat to work as their dive center manager.
We were lucky that the opportunity for Bryan to return to Blue Season Bali came up and he is now here working as our Internship Manager, loving the diving and thoroughly enjoying his time here.
